The wand icon ([icon:Wand2]) in the Quick Input bar uses AI to automatically classify your transaction into the best-matching category. If none of your existing categories fit, it can suggest and create a new one — all in a single tap.
How it works
- Type your transaction in Quick Input as usual — for example,
Coffee 15. - Tap the wand icon (next to the Save button). Moza sends the merchant name and amount to AI.
- The AI does one of three things:
- Match: Assigns an existing category from your workspace (e.g. Restaurants) and shows it below the input.
- Suggest: Proposes a new subcategory (e.g. "Cafes" under Food & Drink) with a "Create & assign" button. Tap it to add the category to your workspace and assign it in one step.
- No match: If AI can't confidently categorize, you'll be prompted to pick one manually with
@.
Common Questions
Does the wand cost credits?
Yes — each tap costs 1 AI Credit. Quick Input parsing itself is free, but the wand uses AI to classify.
What if the wand suggests a category I don't have?
If no existing category fits, the wand proposes a new subcategory under a parent group. Tap "Create & assign" to add it to your workspace instantly.
Can I still set a category manually instead?
Absolutely. Type @CategoryName in your Quick Input text (e.g. "Coffee 5 @Restaurants") to force a specific category without using the wand.
