Shared Groups operate on a continuous, running ledger. Balances do not expire or reset at month boundaries. The Settlement View inside each group displays live net positions and provides a suggested list of payments to clear all debts.

Does Moza automatically transfer real money when I settle?
No. Moza acts as a ledger to record that a payment occurred. You must complete the actual money transfer yourself via bank transfer, Venmo, or cash, then record it in Moza.
How does Moza know who owes whom?
Moza computes a running net position for each member. Your net balance is calculated as the total amount you paid for the group minus your total share responsibility across all group transactions.
What is double-sided posting?
When you record a settlement, Moza automatically creates two matching entries: a local Expense transaction in the debtor's private workspace and a local Income transaction in the creditor's private workspace.
