You can invite people to a workspace and assign each a role: owner, admin, member or viewer. Roles control what each person can see and do, so you can share finances with a partner, family or team safely.
How it works
The four roles:
- Owner — full control, including billing and deletion.
- Admin — manage the workspace and its members.
- Member — add and edit activity.
- Viewer — read-only access.
Inviting people:
- Invitations are sent as secure, single-use links that expire.
- Accepting one binds the person to the workspace with their role.
- Re-inviting an existing member updates their role rather than creating a duplicate.
Limitations
- The last owner of a workspace can't be removed or demoted, to avoid locking everyone out.
- The number of members you can add depends on your plan (add-ons can increase it).
Common Questions
What's the difference between member and viewer?

How many members can I add?
