Forecasting projects where your money is heading — your cash balance, net worth, spending, income, or when you'll reach a goal. Projections are computed from your own past behavior, with an honest confidence label and a likely range — never a fake precise number.
How it works
There are two places to see forecasts:
- On your dashboard — Moza projects your end-of-month cash from your balances plus detected recurring bills and income.
- In Moza AI — ask deeper questions like “What will my balance look like in 90 days?” or “When will I reach my Emergency Fund goal?”
A Moza AI forecast returns a chart with:
- a solid Actual line,
- a dashed Projected line,
- a shaded confidence band (the likely range), and
- a clear High / Medium / Low confidence label with a short “what's influencing this” explanation.
Limitations
- Forecasts need at least about three months of history. With too little data — or activity that's too irregular to project responsibly — Moza tells you it doesn't have enough rather than guessing.
- Projections are shown at monthly granularity, and confidence is a label, not a false percentage.

What does the shaded band mean?
It's the likely range around the projection. It widens further into the future because uncertainty grows over time.
