Moza is designed for collaboration. You can invite partners, family members, or accountants to work in the same workspace. Features, storage, and member limits are governed by the workspace owner's plan and add-ons.
How it works
- Owner-funded pools: All AI Credits and storage used in a shared workspace draw from the workspace owner's pool. For example, if a Free member uploads a receipt inside a Pro workspace, the storage counts toward the owner's 5 GB quota.
- Inherited capabilities: When a Free member works inside a Pro workspace, they get full access to all Pro features — including Advanced Insights, Forecasts, and Ask Moza — while inside that workspace.
- The Member Limit: The member cap is a user-level aggregate counting distinct active member users across all workspaces you own. Pro workspaces include up to 5 members (the owner + 4 invited members) by default.
- Inviting other Pro users: If you invite a collaborator who is already a Pro user, they do NOT consume one of your member seats. Member limits are only consumed by collaborators who do not hold a Pro plan of their own.
- Shared Groups vs Workspaces: Shared Groups let you track split obligations (e.g. shared household expenses) without sharing a full workspace ledger. Inviting participants to a Shared Group is free and does not consume member seats.
Limitations
- Inviting a Free member to a Pro workspace does not upgrade their personal workspaces. Their own private ledgers will remain on the Free tier.
- If a workspace owner runs out of member seats, they can purchase recurring Member Add-ons (+1 seat each) under Settings → Billing to invite more collaborators.
Common Questions
What happens if I invite someone who already has a Pro subscription?
If the user you invite is already an active Pro subscriber, they do not count against your workspace owner's member seat quota. The system automatically detects their Pro status and grants them access without deducting from your seats.
Who pays for AI Credits and storage used in a shared workspace?
The workspace owner pays. All storage uploads and AI-powered interactions inside a shared workspace draw from the workspace owner's entitlement pool, regardless of which member performs the action.
Does being invited to a Pro workspace give me Pro globally?
No. When working inside that shared workspace, you inherit all its Pro capabilities. However, your own personal workspaces will remain on the Free plan unless you upgrade them separately.
